New Law You Should be Aware Of

Posted on by Defensive Driving | in The Daily Drive

Governor Perry has on his desk, awaiting his signature, HB 242, which has been passed by both the State House and Senate, which would make it an offense to text or send an email via a cell or smart phone, with potentially a $200 fine if convicted.

It should be fairly common sense, but you should not have to go to a driving safety school to understand that texting and driving or talking on a cell phone and driving is dangerous, but unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there who just are not exercising common sense when it comes to driving.

So remember, Got a Ticket, Just Click it! And more of you out there in Texas are going to need to take our course for ticket dismissal as driving and texting, talking and texting is about to be against the law. Hang up and drive… you have to now as the video below illustrates!

Drive safely and friendly!
