Taking care of “Ole faithful”

The Houston heat has arrived… And as the heart of summer approaches we need not forget about our best friend.. our car! Old faithful who takes us to and from where we need to go in addition to adding to our countless mini summer adventures.

My baby, Specs, is my life!!!! Not only does she get me to and from work, but when I need a weekend getaway I know that she will get me there safely. With that being said, I regularly make sure that her tires are okay, the AC filter is clean, and replace what needs to be replaced.

To maximize tire life and safety, check the tire condition and inflation pressure monthly, and have the tires rotated every 6,000 miles. Summer heat will cause the pressure within a tire to rise, therefore, it’s important to check the pressure when tires are cold.
