Interesting Traffic Tickets

One morning while watching the news an anchor woman commented about the activity occurring on a live camera. The camera was on a shot of cars feeding onto the freeway. All the cars feeding were crossing the solid white line. Instead of a nice anchor-woman closing the anchor woman stated, “Look at those cars breaking the law. They are all crossing the solid line.” We watched not one or two, but three cars cross the solid line to enter the freeway.

I wondered if most drivers realize that this simple motion can result in a moving violation-After all, the solid line is there to prevent traffic crashes.

This brings me to my topic of the day. Interesting traffic tickets. Well, they are not really interesting-just reminders of the little things to be cognitive of. We all sometimes forget to make the right driving motion and there it is….Before you know it you are taking an online driver safety course for ticket dismissal.

Here are traffic citations that we all forget about:

1. Signaling. A lane change without the proper signal may result in a citation.
2. Driving too fast for conditions. If it is raining and you are driving the speed limit, you may be cited for driving too fast for conditions.
3. Improper lane change. Again do not cross the solid lines. If you miss your exit, take the next one.
