I drive her nuts, she makes me nervous

As my wife was driving me to the car dealer this morning, I realized I might be the number one source of driver distraction when she is driving.   I am a consummate back seat driver, sitting right next to her and I think my wife fully employees mature driving behavior when I am a passenger, because apparently I am a big nag.

That being said, do you ever like being a passenger?   Does riding with someone else make you nervous?   I know my wife is a good driver, she has never had the need to take any of our courses for point reduction or for ticket dismissal, yet I am sometimes scared to ride with her and of course, I have to tell her how and where to drive.   Think about it for a minute… do you distract your spouse when they are driving?   Are you enabling a mature driving behavior or are you driving them insane?

I think I have new content for the courses… that of riding with an overbearing spouse or being a good passenger.
