We HATE the way you Drive!

I’m almost certain that everyone has a pet peeve while on the road. There’s always that one driver who makes you wonder aloud, “Who in the world gave you a driver’s license?” I’ve conducted a survey of the things that other drivers do that are annoying. The top five reasons, along with examples, are listed below.

5) Bobbing and Weaving
The driver is in such a hurry switching lane to lane, tailgating, and cutting any and every body off without a care for any driver other than him/her self.

4) Driving too Slow in the Fast Lane
You’re driving 65-70 mph in the far left lane. You have the music blasting, a/c blowing; Your drive was going smoothly until you got behind the driver who is scared to drive. They’re driving 55 mph and hitting the brakes every 1/4 mile.

3) Merging Incorrectly
You are traveling at 60 mph on the freeway and a car is entering the freeway. Instead of waiting until the lane merges, the other driver decides to cross the solid white line, causing you to brake to avoid an accident. Or you’re lane is ending and the car driving next to you refuses to let you over.

2) Improper use of a Turn Signal
The turn signal scenario can go both ways. You have the driver who has been driving in front of you with their blinker on for the past 3 miles and you’re wondering when they’re going to turn. Then you have the driver who suddenly makes a turn, but didn’t use a blinker. Either way, they’re equally annoying.

1) Distracted Drivers
The driver is talking on the cell phone, changing CDs, sight seeing, eating, trying to get their dog to sit, etc. Their car is drifting and they don’t even realize it because they have too much going on. The light turned green ages ago and they haven’t moved. They’re slamming on the brakes because they almost missed their turn. Ridiculous!
