What makes more sense, texting while driving or talking on the phone while driving? It seems that there are plenty of people who are concerned, and rightfully so, about texting while driving. Is talking on your cell phone any safer? Maybe, if you have bluetooth or are able to talk hands free.
The true issue is that distracted driving of any kind is very dangerous and can be deadly. Next time you find yourself eating while driving, getting the kids a toy from the back seat, getting behind the wheel when you are an emotional wreck or even listening to the radio to loudly, remember that driver safety and distracted driving truly is something that every driver must think about every time they get behind the wheel.
