Spring Break 2012

What do you get when you mix a bunch of teens, alcohol, and cars? Spring Break! Imagine the chaos in South Padre Island, TX…now multiply that times 10! It was ridiculous! Fun, but ridiculous. After what I witnessed, there should be plenty of people registering for a driver safety course; myself included. The fact that there was bumper to bumper traffic anytime I left the hotel room makes it difficult to believe that I got pulled over three times. Luckily, I only received one citation, so I can dismiss it by taking a a defense driving course. Though I still can’t seem to figure out how, out of all the drunk drivers and mooners, I got pulled over for driving 6 miles over the posted speed limit. I’d say that this citation, along with everything that led up to the citation, is something I’ll never forget!
