Man seriously injured after crashing into wrecker

A man was seriously hurt after he plowed into the back of a car hitched to a tow truck Saturday night.  Around 10:45 p.m., a truck was towing a Toyota SUV and heading west on E. Orem at Webercrest when a car traveling at high speeds slammed into the back end of the SUV being towed, according to police.

The driver of the car was transported to Ben Taub hospital in serious condition. The tow truck driver was not injured. Speeding is one of the most leading causes of auto accidents. Most people think about themselves and are not conscious of other drivers when they speed down the street/highway.
