Minnesota Driver Caught Reading a Book While Driving

 

 
Distracted driving is always dangerous, and usually associated with phone use more than anything else. Sometimes however, you do see occasions of people eating, or even doing make-up behind the wheel. On even rarer occasions, we see instances that are so outlandish that you might be curious as to how someone is still alive. This is one such example.

A driver in Minnesota was pulled over recently after being caught reading a book while driving.

The officer who spotted this distracted driver, noticed that he was looking down while driving. Upon pulling him over, the guilty driver responded “I was reading a James Patterson book.” Well, at least he got points for honesty!

Remember, no matter how much of a page turner it might be, the road is no place for this sort of behavior.
