However, not all toll roads will offer this substantial of a discount. Each road varies in their pricing structure, but you will save at least 10% by having the TollTag, with the average savings being about 25%. If you have to frequent several different tolls a day, these savings can really add up.

The state offers such a substantial discount because when you have a TollTag they are guaranteed to get paid. Otherwise, they risk drivers skipping out on the tolls altogether.
